I’m tired. I didn’t nearly get enough sleep last night, and I had to wake up at 7:30. I was hoping that I wouldn’t have to do that after summer classes until school starts up again. Today, we went to see grandpa’s corpse one last time, listen to some monk-like person chant stuff while making a beat, then sent off the corpse to the crematory. Mmmm, bbq. *ahem* The chanting was rather entertaining, the monk was reading off names of family members off a list of some sort, that was rather funny to me. Then we burned a shitload of papers representing moneys and riches to send them off to the afterlife with my grandpa. Lovely thing we’re doing for global warming…nice pyrotechnics though, and I can confidently say that I have experienced having a fire in a metal barrel, like hobos and gangs do.
Lunch afterwards rather sucked, I wasn’t hungry, and we didn’t take the leftovers because of some stupid tradition of not taking the leftovers after a death…and it’s NOW that I’m hungry…mrrr….
I still think we spent too much time mourning over my grandpa’s death though, I wouldn’t want people spending hours not doing anything productive while sitting in front of my corpse. It’d be a waste of unreclaimable time, the living don’t have an eternity, unlike the dead. Oh well, that day is still hopefully far, far, far, far, far away. I hope.
Tomorrow, senior pictures (blearghargarll), Wednesday, ashbearer, and then, the future….
Listening to: SoundTeMP-Iris, from the Granado Espada OST Volume 1. This stuff is awesome, mainly a mix of orchestral and techno, it’s a nice combination. Richard really knows his stuff…

I feel absolutely great about that final, I feel like I passed it, I feel like I aced the class with this test. Of course, it will be a LONG while before I actually get the real grades, so time for the waiting…the apprehension…GAH DRIVING ME CRAZY
*ahem*
Besides that, apparently, I’m going to be the one carrying my grandpa’s ashes and picture at his funeral, since I’m the only male of the youngest generation close by. The only other male, who actually bears the last name of grandpa and would be more fitting in this oh so VERY hallowed task, is thousands of miles away in Los Angeles. His father is coming, but he’s not. Nor are his sisters and their mum. I really hate that branch of the family… So I get to carry the ashes of the dead. More unique life experiences…one that I particularly don’t go for…I would probably crack up if I spilt the ashes XD! Or I could take out a pinch of the ashes and put it in someone’s water…

Summer so far has been relatively good. True, my grandpa just died and all, but that doesn’t weigh too heavily on me. It hasn’t been blistering hot this summer (there’s been some sprinkling recently even), so I’m happy with the weather. I also get to eat nice summer fruits like watermelons and peaches and plums and apricots and strawberries and etc. I love summer fruits.
What really is bothering me is that I only have one month left for AP work. I hate AP work, I have biology and english definitely due first day of school or so. English is really annoying, 3 most likely boring books to read for it. I finished off Book 7 of Harry Potter in 2 days, and yet I can never muster myself to start up reading Mythology again…*sigh*
I also felt there was something more that I wanted to have, but never got it…
Listening to: Kenji Kawai-Lonely Pilgrimage, from the Fate/Stay Night OST.

You know what’s a bad birthday present? A fall and a broken leg.
My grandpa broke his leg the day before his birthday and had to go to the hospital. He was really old, in the 90s, and breaking one’s bones at that age is not a very good idea. Moreover, he was EXTREMELY forgetful, and kept on trying to get up, and had to be told just about every minute that his leg was broken and he couldn’t move it, wouldn’t rest day or night, constantly trying to get back up…I hope I don’t become as forgetful as he was.
He died today, crappy present for his birthday. Rather unexpected, since he was in good health and it hit rather unexpectedly.
I’m not in any real grieving, since I didn’t really know him very well. He spent most his time sleeping, and most of the things i remember him saying pertained to “where’s the food”. Still sucks though, now I have no more grandparents alive. RIP
I have to start studying for that Calc 2 finals if I hope to get an A out of the class, right now I have a high B, a good finals grade will work greatly to my favor. And I really need to get started on that AP work…
Listening to: Koji Kondo-Sanctuary Dungeon. From The Legend of Zelda Sound and Drama set, arranged Link to the Past music ftw!

Yup, would have failed the test with a 63%, were it not for extra credit. But nope, I got extra credit, boosting me up to a grade of 69%! Still a fail…oh well, next week, more extra credit opportunities after the next test, which I am confident I will not fail…too hard on…
So, today, I watched Order of the Phoenix, with IMAX 3D experience (omg that thestrals comin at us). The movie was nice, but not that nice…Most of the movie seemed to have been done in darker lit places, so it was somewhat hard to see for me; the whole movie seems to be colored darker than previous ones, I think. The camera shook a lot too, it seemed. The scene with the big duel was the 3d scene, and it was exciting, but there was so much going on I couldn’t really focus on it. The 3d was meh, nothing special, generic things going towards you to emphasize the 3dness of the experience, etc. I could have gone without it…
And my grandpa fell down and got sent to the hospital. Right before his birthday. Man, that’s poor luck.

So, I am very confident that I utterly fucking failed my calculus test today. I got 9 problems of 13 that I was only a tiny bit sure I was right about them. I’m sure I got more wrong. There were problems that I couldn’t answer because I knew vaguely of the rules I was to apply to the situations, but I didn’t remember enough about it…My only hope is to do well on the next test and the final; the final can replace the lowest test grade I get, which without a doubt is this grade…
I am never missing two days in a row again…

When your dreams include your dad as some serial murderer who’s just cut off your family’s heads off, displayed them in your house, and is acting quite normal when you come home, something in your head must be very wrong…really creepy dream that was.
So, today, I had a doctor’s appointment. I got 3 shots in one go O_O, though they weren’t that bad. I got asked questions, got touched (pedophiles would have a great time being pediatricians…), and got acne medicine. Now to see if that crap’s worth my time…
Listening to: Don’t know how to read it, it’s in Japanese. I should really learn Japanese, would be much help for me in finding nice fighting games (US doesn’t nearly enough 2d fighting game releases).
“Informed consent does not require communication on the same level” some zoophile’s words, I don’t see how that works…

Finally, the scores for my AP exams have come in! After a week of waiting for them since other people got them, now I have them, and they say I got 5s in both history and chemistry! I expected more like a 4 for history, which is good I got a 5. Now, hopefully Kuruc will keep his word and change all my history grades to A’s. Will save my ass if he does…
I’m too careless, really, I got a 95% on my third Calculus II test, but I would have gotten higher if I had ordered the methods of approximating integrals from LEAST accurate to MOST accurate instead of the other way around…an easy couple of points lost to carelessness.

Boy do I suck at it. Suck suck suck suck suckity suck. I think I hit a new record of gutterballs – 8 in a row! Ironically that game I got the 8 gutterballs I got my first strike of the night. As well as my lowest score for the night, if I recall correctly. I went bowling with two of my older cousins (like there are any cousins younger than me though) and it was quite enjoyable, if not tiring on my poorly kept body. They had their own balls and shoes and shit and they had all this equipment in bags. I never knew that they liked it so much. We bowled until 9-11:30, then I got home. Now my shoulders, feet, and fingers are sore…
Today, my cousin was finally able to get my wireless router working. I am piss poor in this computers stuff…Now to figure out this “wifi” mechanism for my DS!
Tomorrow, another Calc II test. Approximation of integrals, and calculus on parametric and polar curves. Wooo…good god I haven’t studied. I think I know it…
Listening to: Nothing.

So, the day of our nations most glorious independence from those Brits has just past. Note the sarcasm…
There’s so much damn fireworks, sounds like a war is going on…I was watching Blackadder Goes Forth, set in WWI, I heard a firework go off, thought it was a bomb in the show…
Today, I went over the a friend’s house in Sunnyvale. Really hot down there…I played Soul Calibur III and other nice PS2 fighting games at his house. I really have to get me one of those…I really want to play Soul Calibur III at home. I created a male character on his game with blue skin, red lipsticked lips, a pencil-thin mustache, and a green lady’s wig. He dressed in pink and looked and acted absolutely flamboyant…XD. My friends and I were laughing at my absolutely absurd creation.
Tomorrow, back to the regularly scheduled falling asleep in class…
Listening to: The OneUps-Isle Delfino.
