West Side Story

The tournament went poorly, ranking in at 2nd, 2nd, and the 3rd. Oh well. They started the tournament much too late though, at 6? Urgh. College Preparatory School is a very nice looking campus, the buildings there reminded me of ski lodges and cabins. The whole place was very green, although they didn’t have any sports fields besides some grassy ditch with soccer goals. Not a very sportsy school, i assume? The classrooms were itty-bitty; the room we competed in had around only 15 seats. The desk-chairs were nice too, they went up and down and you could lean back a bit. To have those chairs at school…

Tonight I went to see West Side Story. My only musical that I saw in high school, perhaps the only musical I will ever see, I suppose. I like some of the tunes. I didn’t care much for the dancing and such. And no proper gangster would be caught breaking into song and dance like they do. Unless they were asking for a beating. And of course, I made plenty of disturbing inappropriate comments >>;. On their knees for Officer Krupke, hehe…

Unexpected

Today, I found a glass Coca Cola bottle during recycling! Another bottle for my glass bottle collection! >>; Which is now 1 Ramune bottle and 1 glass cola bottle that I didn’t drink out of >>;. I didn’t think the glass Snapple or glass Martinelli’s bottle worth keeping. Besides that, there was some lady from Earth Team that was videotaping us recycling and interviewing us about what we did. Highly unexpected…we stayed in a big group (not that our group was big from the start for today), and then split later…so our progress was a bit slower today.

Speaking of unexpected things, I have a quiz bowl tournament tomorrow at CCS…I wasn’t aware of the lunch meeting that I needed to go to because no one listens to the announcements >>;. Not me, at least, seeing as I was walking into class at the time >>;. It will take a long while though for the tournament…it starts at 6 >>;.

And now…begins play time…

Sleep

Today started out crappy, because it was, certain table mates were annoying me, and general crappiness. The day got better though, gradually. Then I went to recycling, that was over pretty quickly. And I was exhausted today, I came home and pretty much fell asleep immediately. I woke at 10 with a fright because I thought I had overslept to near morning. Then I went back to sleep and was awoken at 12 by Richard: “Konyaga Yamada!” Very well played, I must say. And then it rather went downhill afterwards. I have to say, the sleep part was the most enjoyable part of my day though. Ugh…there’s not much worth staying up for these days.

Blinding Bright

Yesterday, I walked home from school. Tiring day it was, had to rush to complete my biology outline in Gov, horrible horrible procrastination that is my wont bringing me down ><. The sun was bright while walking home, always in my eyes. I couldn’t keep my eyes open…but maybe that was also because I was exhausted. Not enough sleep…it sucks. I was falling asleep on the walk home! It was also quite windy during the walk. Odd combination of being a bit too hot when my sleeves were down, but being too cold when I rolled them up. All in all, crappy. Like many other things, hmm?

Is Shit

I’ve been very lazy, the past week has been pretty crappy. Coming back from break doesn’t help, you know. Then Wednesday I completely overslept until around 9:40, and figuring English was a lost cause, went back to sleep. Then I woke at 11 and thought that Gov was a lost cause decided to shower, eat, and then leave for Bio. Then Thursday there was and Invisible Man essay which I am confident I got a fail on that. And I decided not to show up for the seminar on Friday because I didn’t want to spend time on the questions. But I procrastinated on my biology lab report and had to miss third block unintentionally. It was senior cut day, so apparently there were only 8 people in English, so they had some spelling bee crap. Roger invited me to go eat with him and Brian at Elio’s, but I wanted to stay in bed, and at any rate, I still had work to complete. I regret not going… The only good part of the week was afterschool Friday, Quiz Bowl had really good attendance (aside from Liz missing, I wonder if its more than just a coincidence?). Afterwards, a bunch of Quiz Bowl people went to Joanne’s house to play Brawl, which was awesome. Of course, everything after that was pretty crappy.+

I have so much work too.
