Bathrooms

January 10, 2009

So today, I had to go to Berkeley for dealing with some financial aid business there. But…it’s closed Fridays. *sigh* And I had to wake early and gather up all the right documents and crap…So I’m going again Monday.

After Berkeley, I went to Sunset District, San Francisco, as my dad had to help finish off fixing my cousin’s wall (some sort of accident blew a hole into the wall apparently) and to pick up the desktop, which had activation trouble because I formatted the hard drive and had to reinstall Vista and shit. After fixing the crap up there, my dad and I went to take a look at the nearby beach, and then I experienced one of the City of San Francisco’s Public Convenience Stations, located at Taraval and Great Highway. Wonderfully verbose title, eh? The restroom was decorated nicely with tile and looked rather cleaner than other park facilities I’ve seen, but sinks and the toilets work pretty much the same, with a button for flushing instead of a lever. The urinals had no dividers, and the toilet paper was one ply and distributed like paper towel…not the best, I’d say. Oh, and not to forget, the stalls didn’t have doors. So pretty much a normal public toilet dolled up to look a tad better. Just the addition of stall doors would be wonderful for crap like that >>;.

After the Public Convenience Station, we went to some Chinese restaurant to eat, and we both ordered Beef and Tofu over rice. It was cheap, awesome, filling, and because it came with a large bowl of free soup, I wanted to finish off all the soup so as not to waste it. And then I get hit by the dams straining at the walls in the middle of a traffic jam that started all the way on the junction between 101 and 280, which is still a whiles to go. The soup was less than wise…so I had to make pit stop in Oakland REAL BAD, and go into a restroom at Sincere Hardware. It’s run by a Chinese dude, and I found it cool >>;. The restroom, which opens straight into the open world and looked like it was added onto the main building, is surprisingly nice, considering that its a hardware store and it’s Chinese owned >>;. Maybe it’s just the Chinese restaurant restrooms that fail? >>;. It looked like it could pass off for the bathroom of a nice house, but then again, the place does sell the materials to build that sort of a restroom, so perhaps I shouldn’t be that surprised. And everything was perfect about it, beyond lack of seat covers…but I’m sure they’ll get refills! That is a good bathroom that I would without a doubt use again if I needed to >>;.

Then I went to Laney, asked why the fuck I still didn’t get a grade for Minority Studies, then went home and emailed the teacher about the grade. I seriously need the letter grade so I can get a final transcript and shit…*sigh* I hope I haven’t fucked anything up for the class, I really don’t think I did.

Beyond bathrooms…I got a new mp3 player that will hopefully last me longer than 2 years and still be able to hold a good charge. Sadly…no OGG support…yeah, I am horrible >>;.

And now…to sleep some sort of sleep that I will sleep!

Listening to: Cerf, Mitsika, and Jaren-You Never Said (Original Mix).

some words or some shit

Equivalent Exchange

January 6, 2009

“The primary rule of Thaumaturgy is Equivalent Exchange. In order to create something, another object must be given as a price. It may also involve modification to an existing object. The base of all Thaumaturgy is the use of prana to produce something that either already exists or can exist. That which falls into the phantasm category, something made out entirely of images and might even not exist naturally anymore, will be eventually wiped out by the world for being in conflict with this rule.”

A principle behind magic in Type-Moon works. The world is one of give and take; phantasms pulled out of the magus’s imagination will shatter within moments, as the world is like a living organism – self preservation above all. Illusions cannot be reality, reality will move swiftly to restore balance.

I’ve been playing a lot of Fate/Stay Night, yeah, the laws behind the world are complicated >>;. And yet, so cool…

And my driving test is today, I REALLY should be asleep by now…I feel failure coming on…

Listening to: Daisuke Ishiwatari-Bullet Dance. The soundtrack for Blazblue came out, and the game being a spiritual successor to Guilty Gear…DO WANT. The music is similarly awesome as well.

awake…to a new worldhello world

I just spent the night looking at bash.org

I could not say it better, beyond the spelling, but that’s just me being anal: hell yeah bitches.

I just want to give it a go, fuck the various videos that show fail on youtube.

And, as the title states…I fail. >>; I’m off to bed, tomorrow, failing at driving, woooo!

Listening to: Fate/Unlimited Codes-EMIYA. A remix of the original theme from Fate/Stay Night, this shit is epic, it comes on when Archer’s ready to use Unlimited Blade Works to rape ass!

That which is 2009

January 1, 2009

Vacation makes me lazy like fuck, yeah? Horrible, I know. I should probably stop doing that…but hey, it’s me and shit, yeah? And this is NOT some new years resolution thing, no way resolutions should be put off to the beginning of the new year, you should do it when you can and want to, not depending on the new year >>;. Of course, being me, I’m not much of a resolution person at all >>;.

So, it’s the new year. A year is a construct of man, built to measure time, that bastard. So…fuck time, and fuck man. Let’s go, wrath!

Tonight, I went out with Elvin to scout out Bay Farm, then went to Target and then his house to wait it out. Later on in the night we went with his cousin Clark, Clark’s girlfriend Wishma, Gloria, and Cindy to Bay Farm to watch the fireworks from range. It wasn’t really that moving…especially, considering that the most amazing display would come from San Francisco hands down, had a black mass of fog hanging down on the whole damn city. I say, it’s as if they don’t want the rest of the world peeping in on their fireworks. It wasn’t that cold though, I was wearing my fleece hoodie thingy thats warm as fuck after a while of acclimating to the cold. It’s an awesome hoodie, fuck yeah Seaking. So, we stayed there for a while, then we went back to look for food. It’s New Year’s Eve though, and everything’s closed…Denny’s, IHOP (we got lost a bit looking for IHOP and entered the Hayward ghetto-y area, with cops arresting people at some bar and a large gang of people just crossing the street in the middle of the street, I think), and by the time we picked up Angel from the Hayward Bart station (we were in the neighborhood), In-n-Out was on the list as well. Surprisingly (or maybe not so much?), Nation’s was open, and it was crowded. We ate food, I got burger juice over my t-shirt (bleh), and now at 3 I’m back home typing up my blog in ages. Fuck day, night’s when the awesome happens.

And I’m 18 now! 18th’ birthday on the 18th of December (damn December, ruining the combo), Elvin, Richard, and Charles came over, had pizza and cake, played games. Basic shit, yeah? Nothing’s really different though, but what can you expect. Age is another construct of man…fuck man >>;. What can I do legally now is either not much of a change, I’m too late for, or something I don’t do at all. I can legally be out late late late at night…but I’ve done it before anyways, so yeah, the world still rotates on its axis.

I’ve gone out a lot during break with Elvin, Serene, Richard, and Charles, or they’ve come over to hang out. They leave so very early though…which somewhat sucks, yeah? After they all leave on the 4th or so, I’m pretty sure most of my time will be spent at home puttering around and sleeping…hikikomori woo >>;. It’s been seriously awesome hanging out with you guys so much though, considering my recluse status during school.

Driving…sucks ass. I was falling asleep yesterday driving down Hesperian at around 3…horrible place and time to be falling asleep. I am so failing that driving test, I often miss stop signs until my mum warns me, and I’m seriously absentminded. Not to mention, my parking sucks balls, and I hit curbs >>;. Watch me fail the test on the 6th! >>;.

Listening to: Epik High feat. Clazziquai-혼자라도 / Honjarado / Even Alone. Damn song, it’s not the stuff I usually listen to for the most part, but it’s grown on me >>;.

Roses are red
Violets are blue
I’ll fuck you with a rake
