So the first part of my dream was like playing Four Swords Adventures, except with Phantom Hourglass graphics…and me as a Link. So the other two Links were being douches (don’t know where the fourth one went) so they told me to go into the dungeon and they’d wait outside. Douches. So the mission was to find these eight…fluffy things? I don’t remember, they were supposed to be friendly though. Then I had to help them resolve a conflict between then because they couldn’t easily divide what they had among them…it was odd. The dungeon was filled with red pots, so I broke all of them while looking for them. Then I got knocked out cold for some reason (maybe because I may have semi-woken up at that point?), right at realizing that I was supposed to hit a switch for the furry things to pop up. So yeah…
After I got back up I was in some really fancy, triangular shaped building with a lot of glass walls. With me were (out of nowhere) Roger and Josh. And for some reason, we were trapped in the building, and someone had taken all the stuff out of my pockets-money, wallet, pens, nail clippers, etc. And we were trapped in the building-it was big, but apparently a prison. It was an odd prison though…the floor we were on seemed like the dining area for a corporate headquarters, filled with a lot of suits and expensive places to buy food. And I looked outside the building…and outside were those nice houses that line the hilly streets of San Francisco. And then there were these large, slimy snakes with heads that looked like Flamers from Kirby games except their bodies were made of goo, and they appeared in a variety of bright colors. And in the distance, a large, towering, green cyclops was headed for the building, shooting out of its eye silver cannonballs the size of a human at the building. Josh was peering at the outside world rather nonchalantly when a cannonball broke the glass immediately to his right, but instead of losing his calm, he just kept his cool. And I said “well fuck, that was epic”. So while more cannonballs rained on the building, Roger apparently had the keys to the building in his pocket (yeah, I know, deus ex machina) so we rushed to the doors, opened them, and then yelled out to everyone “HEY WE GOT THE DOORS OPEN”. Most of the people didn’t even respond and went about normally. So we left, and the cyclops was getting closer, and I lamented at the fact that I didn’t have any bow and arrows to kill the cyclops with (attack its weak point for massive damage, duh). For some reason, either Josh had left and Michael Duncan had joined us, or he just transformed. I’m going to go with transform. Michael had a long, sharp metal splinter with him he thought he could throw at the cyclop’s eye to kill him. For some reason, a pair of tweezers appeared in my pockets, and it had a sharp tip…except the whole tip part was curved, like this. So, it’d be useless as a throwing weapon. This being a dream, Michael was able to throw the metal splinter with an underhand throw and have it fly straight, like an arrow in fiction…only to have it miss the cyclops by, oh, i dunno, a mile or something? It DID however hit a passing truck, and manage to lodge itself into the truck’s container. That was pretty epic as well…didn’t do crap to stop the cyclops from coming…so it did come, and apparently, it gets smaller the closer you get to it, so by the time it was a block a away, it was human sized. And looking more and more human rather than some green hulking monstrosity. I prepared to use the tweezers to shank its eye, when the cyclops took off the mask and said she was helping promote iPods. By the bye, all those snakes outside the building….they weren’t even there when we left the building >>;. So all the supernatural shit resolved, the three of us headed for Chinatown (so it IS San Francisco now…) for some reason. I still didn’t have my wallet or money with me, so while the others went into some candy store to browse, I waited.
Somehow, I then ended up in some place where a classmate of mine from Laney in a dream that I had earlier that I don’t remember lived half the time, and he said he was packing because he was about go help some one move/build a house/something manly involving houses. Then I found the car that I usually drive for driving practice (ancient Camry) completely trashed up in a parking lot. It still ran though, but the steering wheel was very unrepsonsive, one of the dials was broken (I think it was the one that talked about if the car was overheating?), and the radio (a hell of a lot more advanced than the one in the car in RL) didn’t work, but one of the LED panels said “Gang Leader”, might have had something to do with his preset channels. Somehow, keys popped up, and I was able to start the car up. Then I immediately stopped it and jumped out of the car to check if was overheating, because for some reason, the dial read it was overheating. And THEN I remembered “OH yeah, right, it’s BROKEN.” So I drove recklessly back home (not like I could much help it, the steering wheel was rather fucked, and I was trying to hurry), without my permit or an adult in the car, and somehow, made it home in one piece without any cops after my ass. Then I remembered I didn’t have my wallet, and I needed to find some sort of weapon to raid the glass building to see if I could find my wallet again. But, I woke up at that moment, and so now I’ll never know where my wallet is.
In other news, I’m playing MOTHER 3, since the English translation patch came out. And if you’re not playing it…you should play it. Because it’s MOTHER. That is all.
